This information is provided in accordance with Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, as well as the free movement of such data (the "General Data Protection Regulation" or "GDPR") and Legislative Decree 30.06.2003, no. 196, as amended and supplemented by Legislative Decree 10.08.2018, no. 101 ("Data Protection Code" or "Privacy Code") to those who interact with the web services of the website Words Of Europe, accessible from the homepage at the address: https://www.wordsofeurope.eu

The Data Controller is MANDRAGOLA EDITRICE s.c.g., through its legal representative pro tempore. The Data Controller, aware of the importance of ensuring the security of private information, in accordance with applicable European and Italian legislation, in compliance with the transparency principle of Article 12 GDPR, hereby provides the following information in order to make the user aware of the characteristics and methods of processing personal data.
Type of data processed
The Data Controller processes the personal data of the user provided during the use of the website. In particular, the following data is processed:
- navigation data not directly provided - and in any case acquired within the limits of what is provided for by Article 14, paragraph 5, GDPR - whose transmission is connected to the use of Internet communication protocols (for example, page accesses, amount of data transferred, session ID numbers, IP addresses, URL addresses, etc.) and for which reference is also made to the Cookies policy available on the website;
- personal identifying and/or contact data (name, surname, e-mail address) directly provided by the interested party when sending an email to request information through the email address available on the website or when subscribing to the newsletter
Purposes, legal basis and methods of processing data
The user's data is collected in order to enable the Data Controller to provide its services, as well as for the following purposes:
- enabling the use of the website's functions following the user's access (legitimate interest);
- conducting research/statistical analyses on aggregated or anonymous data, without the possibility of identifying the user, aimed at measuring the operation of the website and its operational functions, including the resolution of any technical problems;
- fulfilling legal obligations to which we are subject;
- exercising the Data Controller's rights (for example, verifying, exercising or defending legal claims).
The legal basis for processing is the need to perform the contract to which the user is a party or to take steps at the request of the user prior to entering into a contract (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) GDPR).
The data is processed by automated means for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
Recipients or categories of recipients of the data The data may be communicated to third parties, including public authorities, for the fulfillment of legal obligations or for the exercise of rights in judicial proceedings. The data may also be communicated to third parties, such as providers of IT and communication services, external consultants, credit institutions and insurance companies, as well as to our agents, employees and/or collaborators, who may process the data in their capacity as data processors or persons in charge of processing.
Data transfer to third countries
The data provided for the aforementioned purposes is not transferred to third countries or international organizations outside the European Union.
Rights of the interested parties
The interested party can exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15 and following of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, in particular the right to access their personal data (Article 15), to request their rectification (Article 16), updating if incomplete or incorrect, to request their limitation (Article 18), and deletion (Article 17) if the conditions are met, as well as to oppose their processing (Article 21). These rights can be exercised by making a request to the Data Controller. It is always possible to file a complaint with the competent data protection authority (the Italian Data Protection Authority).
